TEMS International Joins Energy Industries Council

A leading international provider of environmental management and compliance services to the oil and gas industry has joined a prominent energy trade association.

TEMS International has signed up as a member of the Energy Industries Council (EIC), which provides high-value market intelligence to members to support their continued growth. Established in 1943, the EIC is a not-for-profit organisation with over 650 member companies operating in the energy industries around the world.

Membership of the trade association will provide TEMS International with access to a global network of advice, support and networking. Alongside its London headquarters, the EIC has offices in key international energy cities including Houston, Kuala Lumpur and Rio de Janeiro, offering training, regionalised market intelligence and a programme of networking events.

TEMS International works around the world supporting exploration and production companies during drilling operations. Its services include continuous environmental compliance, drilling performance management, environmental rig and vessel audits, and drilling performance waste management services. By working closely with rig personnel these services can reduce drilling fluid usage and waste, provide significant cost savings – sometimes major six-figure sums – and contribute to a decrease in the carbon footprint of the drilling asset.

Bill Walkingshaw, TEMS International managing director, said: “Joining the EIC provides us with access to an excellent range of international market intelligence and networking events that will be extremely valuable. The organisation has been a trusted partner of the energy industry for decades and we look forward to working with its regional teams as we continue our international expansion.”
